In this post I want to talk a bit about Spain sightseeing tours, and when they might be the best option for a person visiting Spain. First lets look at some reasons why you might want to join a tour group. One obvious reason is ease of travel. If you don’t know the local language, are unsure about how to get around, or just want some help finding the best tourist spots, a tour might be for you.

The drawback is that you have a bit less freedom regarding where you go. If you are on a walking tour, or any kind of fully guided tour for that matter, you go where your group goes. Now this can be remedied to some extent if you select something like a hop on hop off bus tour. In this case, you decide which places you visit along the bus route, and what you do at each place.

Essentially, it all boils down to a choice between having some expert help and guidance on your tour of Spain, or having the option to go fully of the beaten path, while maintaining complete control of your sightseeing experience.

Some of the most intriguing tourist attractions in Spain can be found in the city of Barcelona. I always recommend the city to those visiting Spain for the first time, as there is so much to see and do. In my opinion, the architectural works of Antoni Gaudi are among Barcelona’s best attractions. The above clip gives you some views of Sagrada Familia, a cathedral considered by many to be Barcelona’s most stunning site. After a visit there, I also recommend having a look around Park Guell, another Gaudi creation that has become a major tourist destination.

Well, it’s been quite awhile now since I last posted on Spain Travel Deals Blog.  Unfortunately, I’ve been quite busy with various other projects, and just haven’t been able to find the time to write.  I have however found some time to read through the many comments I’ve been getting from visitors to this site.  It seems that many of you have really found the content thus far to be of value in your travel planning efforts.  I’m very pleased to hear this, and I wanted to take the time to write now to let you know that I have some exciting plans for the future of the blog. 

First of all, I want to let you know that I will continue to do the in depth articles on popular Spain tourist attractions, accommodation deals etc.  However, In addition to this I also want to try and deliver more multimedia content on a regular basis.  As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.  With that in mind I plan to share more images   and video from Spain with you as it fits into the articles which are posted.  I think this will give you a much better idea of what the locations being discussed are really like, and it should make the site more enjoyable as well.
